We have chosen the destination (USA!) and we've chosen the dates (Feb 1st-26th 2015) and now we're just planning out all the bits and pieces and booking. And we are mega excited.
We're still fleshing out all the details but here's a look at the locations that we are pretty sure on for now.
Flying from Sydney to LA
First stop Los Angeles.
Only a few days here. Top of our list is Disneyland & Universal Studios.
San Francisco
Probably 4 or 5 days in San Francisco. Being mega touristy.
Mammoth Mountain
We are turning this into a skiing/snowboarding holiday! I'm probably almost the most excited about this part. Josh (the bf) can't ski or snowboard as of yet, but I will ski around him and help him back up when he falls down. heh.
Portland, Oregon
We are kind of (lamely so) excited to stay at the Ace Hotel in Portland. As well as justr generally browsing around, checking out the Japanese gardens and art gallery.
Final Stop: New York City
Josh is very keen on New York City. The Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Times Square, Central Park, Rockefeller Center just to name a few, with some museums thrown in for good measure.
Then back to little old Australia.
Soo eager to travel! I'll definitely be posting more about our trip as the planning and such develops.
