How fun are blanket forts! I wrote a guide for Smoko Inc on how to build a great one! Including all the supplies you will need and how super easy it is. I put mine together in about half an hour. But the more time and effort you put into your blanket fort, the better it will be!
You can read about how I built my blanket fort over on the Smoko Inc blog!
Right Here!
The Giant Unicorn Lamp* is the perfect addition to your blanket fort, as he provides a lovely soft glow, can be operated from afar with a remote, is made of sturdy material and doesn't get hot! So you don't have to worry about bumping into him and burning yourself or breaking Uni!
My blanket fort is super cosy, perfect for snuggling up in and watching movies. I borrowed Josh's laptop to catch up on Once Upon a Time, the double season finale. What are you doing Emma??
I placed almost every single pillow that I had in my blanket fort. Including my fav twin peaks mountain cushion from Hush Rumble.
Who else is super excited for the final chapter of Mockingjay?? It comes into cinemas really soon. Part One was good, but at the same time extremely uneventful. Who's prepared to bawl their freaking eyes out during this film?? And for those who haven't read the book, umm, yeah. It's gonna be a great time.
*My Giant Unicorn Lamp was gifted to me, but all thoughts & opinions on it are my own. xx

Yes, Tegan, yes! This is everything! I need a unicorn lamp in my life so bad, ahh, and I'm not too keen on Mockingjay Part 2, but I'm interested to see what happens!

This is so adorable; it brings me back to when I was younger and used to build forts with my friends! I definitely miss being as creative. Thanks for inspiring 'adults' to have a little fun too!

Everything looks so pretty!
ReplyDeleteCuuuute! My sister and I used to make blanket forts all the time as kids. I'm kinda happy that it's socially trendy to make little hipster blanket forts like this, hahaha.

Your fort looks so comfy - I might have to make one myself! It would be the perfect retreat for the wintery nights over here in the UK at the moment. I've read the book series, but felt a little lacklustre about Mockingjay Part One... So I'm hoping Part Two makes up for it!!
ReplyDeleteOHMYGOD SO CUTE! I'm gonna make one for myself too, it looks so comfy and easier than a pillow fort (I need a lot of pillows which is a real pain in the ass) & this lamp looks so magical!!
